Wairoa Hospital Transfer

3 years ago - Friday 19th November
• 1713 hours At the request of HBDHB, flew to Wairoa with a flight nurse, to retrieve a patient with a cardiac compliant.

Patient with respiratory problem.

3 years ago - Thursday 18th November
• 0930 hours At the request of HBDHB, flew to Wairoa with a doctor and flight nurse, to retrieve a female patient with a respiratory problem.

Forestry Worker

3 years ago - Wednesday 17th November
• 1150 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Frasertown to a forestry work site, where a 45 y/o forestry worker was complaining of chest pain, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Cardiac Arrest in Herbertville

3 years ago - Monday 15th November
• 1215 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Herbertville. When the helicopter arrived on scene it was found that the person was deceased despite the CPR performed by his work colleagues.

A busy Sunday for the crew

3 years ago - Sunday 14th November
• 1100 hours Tasked by Air Desk to attend a female patient, with a medical condition, at Maraetotara, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1347 hours Requested by HBDHB to transport a 77 y/o female patient, accompanied by a hospital flight team, to Napier Airport for handover to a Fixed Wing Ambulance (there weren’t any St John Ambulances available for the road transfer)

MVA Patient with Chest Injuries

3 years ago - Friday 12th November
• 2233 hours Tasked by Air Desk to attend an MVA at Takapau, where a female patient suffered chest injuries.

Napier Airport Handover

3 years ago - Thursday 11th November
• 1400 hours Requested by DHB to fly to Napier Airport for tarmac handover of a child patient to be flown to Wellington Hospital, accompanied by a doctor and flight nurse. The initial plan was to fly the child by Fixed Wing Air Ambulance, but the FW Ambulance was re-assigned to another mission.

Cardiac Patient at Wairoa

3 years ago - Tuesday 9th November
• 1700 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and flight Nurse to retrieve a 29 y/o female with a cardiac complaint.

Putere Patient

3 years ago - Monday 8th November
• 2030 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Putere to a female patient with a medical condition – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up assessment and treatment.

Cardiac Patient in Wairoa

3 years ago - Sunday 7th November
• 0930 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Wairoa to meet a St John ambulance with a patient with a cardiac condition – adverse weather was encountered and the helicopter returned to base.
