Two transfer trips from Wairoa

13 months ago - Wednesday 22 November
• 1438 hours Inter hospital transfer from Hastings to Wairoa for a female patient in her 70’s, following a fall and resulting head injury. Accompanied by flight Nurse and Doctor.
• 1546 hours Inter hospital transfer from Wairoa to Hastings for a male patient in his 20’s for medical condition. Accompanied by flight Nurse and Doctor

MVA, Hiking injury and transfer from The Mission Concert

13 months ago - Saturday 11th November
• 1018 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to an incident at Tahura, upon arrival it was found that a male motorcyclist had fallen and sustained chest injuries – the motorcyclist was flown to Waikato Hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1523 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to Te Puia Springs, where a female patient aged in her 30’s suffered an ankle injury whilst out hiking – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1716 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to the Mission Concert in Greenmeadows (landing in a nearby paddock), where a female convert goer, aged in her 60’s, suffered a cardiac condition requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital

Cardiac transfer and recovery from a capsized boat

13 months ago - Friday 10th November
• 0500 hours Tasked by Air Desk to meet a St John Road ambulance for a helipad handover of a male patient, aged in his 70’s, suffering from a cardiac condition requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital
• 1727 hours Tasked by Police to conduct a rescue off Tangoio Beach, 4 passengers were recovered from a capsized boat, the persons recovered were assessed by our Paramedic as not requiring transport to hospital.

Medical transfer from Wairoa

13 months ago - Wednesday 8th November
• 0835 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa Hospital with 2x Doctors and a Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s suffering from a medical condition

Stroke and maternity transfer to Wellington

13 months ago - Sunday 5th November
• 0645 hours At the request of the hospital transported a male patient, aged in his 70’s suffering from a stroke, accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse, to Wellington Hospital.
• 1041 hours At the request of the hospital transported a female patient with a maternity complication to Wellington Hospital – the patient was accompanied by a Flight Nurse and Midwife.

Fall down stairs

13 months ago - Thursday 2nd November
• 1750 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Tuai, to an incident where a male patient, aged in his 30’s, fell down the stairs in his house and suffered injuries - the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Transfer to Wellington Hospital

13 months ago - Wednesday 1st November
• 1400 hours At the request of the hospital transported a male patient, aged in his 60’s suffering from a stroke, accompanied by a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic, to Wellington Hospital.

Patients transfered to Gisborne and Hawke's Bay Hospitals

13 months ago - Sunday 29th October
• 1038 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Gisborne, to a female patient, aged in her 70’s, who suffered a spinal injury sustained in a fall at home – the patient was flown to Gisborne hospital.
• 1500 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Te Awanga to a female patient with complex medical needs – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up.

Patient transfer from Wairoa

13 months ago - Friday 27th October
• 2008 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s with abdominal pain.

Patients suffering with seizures

14 months ago - Tuesday 24th October
• 1250 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa, with a Doctor and 2x Flight Nurses to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s, suffering with seizures – the patient was flown to Napier Airport for handover to a fixed wing Air Ambulance for further transport to Wellington hospital.
