Farm Rescue

9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was responded to a farm at Kereru where a 72 year old male dislocated his hip. He was transported to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer to Wellington

9 years ago - Transported a male patient with cardiac problems from Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Motorcycle Accident in Nuhaka

9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter has responded to a motorcycle accident in Nuhaka. A motorcycle had slid off the road in the wet conditions, and a 55 year old male had sustained leg and shoulder injuries, and a 54 year old female had sustained a shoulder injury. Both patients were transported to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Pregnancy Complications from Wairoa

9 years ago - Transported a female patient with pregnancy complications from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer from Wellington

9 years ago - Transported a male patient with neurological complications from the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Search for Personal Locator Beacon

9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was responded by the Rescue Coordination Centre to search for a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) that had been activated in the Ruahine Range, near Gold Creek Hut. With low cloud and drizzle in the area, the helicopter was unable to locate the beacon due to it being above the cloud line. The helicopter returned to base. The person in distress managed to get a cell phone call out to RCC and said that while they were cold, wet and disoriented in the whiteout conditions, they would continue on to Sunrise Hut once warmed up.

Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

9 years ago - Transported a male patient with medical complications from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Rescue from the Ruahine Ranges

9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was responded to a tramping party in the Ruahine Ranges, where a 64 year old female and a 53 year old male had sustained severe leg cramps and exhaustion at the Waipawa Saddle, due to the steep terrain. Both patients were winched out with the paramedic into the helicopter and transported to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldier's Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Police Incident in Kaweka Ranges

9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter, alongside NZ Police, winched the deceased hunter from the Kaweka Ranges, following the accidental fatal shooting of a hunter the previous day.

Medical Emergency in Kotemaori

9 years ago - Responded to Kotemaori, to attend a male who had suffered a severe neurological event. Unfortunately he was declared dead at the scene.
