9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter responded to a rural Puketapu address to airlift a 16 year-old female who suffered suspected rib and hip injuries, after rolling the All-Terrain Vehicle she had been operating. She was treated at the scene by St John Paramedics, before been flown to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was tasked by RCCNZ to investigate a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) that had been activated near Tutira. A 57-year-old woman was found lying in a farm field, after been thrown from her horse. She was treated at the scene by St John Paramedics, before been flown to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter responded to a motor vehicle accident in Dannevirke, after a car left the road and clipped a tree. A 47 year old male, with moderate injuries, was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
9 years ago - Transported a female patient, suffering from serious cardiac complications, from the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital to Wellington Hospital.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was responded by the rescue coordination centre to search for a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) that was activated in the Kaweka's. An 85 year old male was located on a steep track after getting lost. He was winched out of the area and returned to his car at the car park, safe and well.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter Crew responded to Porangahau township, to airlift a 48-year-old female who sustained serious facial and head injuries following a motor vehicle accident. The car has appeared to have left the road and rolled over, causing substantial damage. St John Intensive Care Paramedics, attended to her, prior to being flown to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter responded to a call out to a forestry block inland from Wairoa in an area called Putere, to an accident involving a bulldozer. A 52 year old male had sustained a fractured hip, and chest and leg injuries, after the bulldozer he had been working in rolled down a hill. He was transported to Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
9 years ago - Responded to the Napier-Taihape Road to airlift a seriously injured 42-year-old female motorcyclist, who had sustained multiple injuries after coming off whilst negotiating a bend. She was attended to by St John, Intensive Care Paramedics, before being flown to the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soliders' Memorial Hospital
9 years ago - Responded to a rural address near Coonoor, west of Pongaroa, where a male suffered a fatal cardiac event, while loading stock on to truck. Unfortunately he was pronounced dead at the scene, before the helicopter arrived.
9 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was responded to a call out to the Pohingina Valley near Apiti, to uplift a 40-year-old male who had sustained a suspected broken ankle while hunting. He was attended to by a St John Intensive Care Paramedic before being flown to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment.
