Patient in need of specialist care in Wellington

8:00 - Transported a 56 y.o. male with cardiac problems from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital

Crash on the Napier to Taupo road.

7 years ago - 25th October 12:30 a.m. The helicopter was called to attend an accident on SH-5 Napier to Taupo Road, near the Tarawera Café where a truck crashed in to a power pole, and an 8 y.o. female passenger sustained minor leg injuries. After being attended to at the scene by St John paramedics she was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Wairoa Transfer

7:30 - The helicopter was called to Wairoa Hospital to transport a 77 y.o. female patient with a dislocated hip to Hawke’s bay Hospital.

Mahia for a patient with stroke like symptoms and Wairoa for an vital medical transfer.

11:00 - The Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Mahia to transport a 72 y.o. male patient with stroke like symptoms

1830 - The helicopter flew to Wairoa Hospital to transport a 56 y.o. male with a cardiac condition to Hawke's Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Cardiac patient in need of specialist care.

7 years ago - Friday 20 October - Transported a male with cardiac issues to Wellington Hospital from Hawke's Bay

Transfer to Hutt Hospital for a baby

7 years ago - Thursday 19th October - Flew a baby with burns from Hawke's Bay Hospital to Hutt Hospital for specialist care.

Wairoa Transfer

7 years ago - Monday 16 October 1430 Transported two patients with medical conditions to Hawke's Bay Hospital from Wairoa Hospital.

Promotional flight and two rescue missions

Time 03:00
The rescue helicopter was called to Lake Waikaraemoana, and landed at Tuai. Unfortunately the patient had deceased before the helicopter arrived on scene.

The helicopter fulfilled a promotional commitment to Hawkes Bay Rugby Union and Unison to deliver the Junior Magpie of The Day and the game ball to the rugby – Hawkes Bay Magpies vs Manawatu Turbos

Time 17:00
The rescue helicopter was responded to a motor-cross event on a farm at Patoka where a 40 year old male sustained chest and abdominal injuries when he fell from his bike and was then hit from behind by another rider. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

PLB Activation, Critical Hospital Transfer and Cape Kidnappers

The rescue helicopter was responded by the Rescue Coordination Centre to a Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) activation at the Waterfall Hut in the Ruahine Ranges. A 49 year old male sustained a fractured hand following a fall. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

The rescue helicopter was tasked to Masterton to transport a female patient, in her 60’s, from Masterton Hospital to the Intensive Care Unit at Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Time: 20:00
The rescue helicopter was responded to a beach south of Cape Kidnappers for a 55 year old male who rolled his quad bike on the beach, and sustained shoulder and back injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

7 years ago - Saturday 7 October - Transported a female with pregnancy complications from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
