Two time critical hospital transfers

0300 Transported a premature baby from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1215 Transported of a 52yo male patient with cardiac issues from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

A very busy day for the Rescue Helicopter

6 years ago - Tuesday 9 October
1030 Transported a male patient with a severely fractured foot from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1300 Tasked to Nuhaka for a 52yo male who suffered facial injuries whilst opertaing a digger. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
1840 Called to Te Mata Peak to a 31yo female who had fallen from her bike, she was extracted from the inaccessible location by winch.

Beacon Activation and Hospital Transfer

6 years ago - Sunday 7 October
1100 The rescue helicopter was responded by the Rescue Coordination Centre to search for a beacon activation east of Waipatiki beach, it was found to be a false activation.
1300 Transported a female patient with urinary problems from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Wellington Hospital Transfer

1330 Transported a male patient in his 70’s with cardiac problems from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital for further treatment.

Wellington Pick up

7 years ago - Thursday 4 October
1200 We were tasked to Wellington Hospital to retrieve a 77yo female back to recuperate in Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Rescue Missions to Mahia and Waipatiki Beach

7 years ago - Wednesday 3 October
1430 The rescue helicopter was tasked to Mahia for a 78 year old male with Sepsis. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
1715 The rescue helicopter was responded to Waipatiki Beach for a 75 year old male who sustained back and neck injuries when his ride on lawn mower rolled down a hill. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Young baby boy in need of specialist care

1800 Flew to Wairoa to pick up a young baby boy who was suffering a medical problem.

1200 Transferred a 71yo female to Wellington with a heart condition.

Wairoa Hospital Transfers

7 years ago - Monday 17 September

0900 Transported a 89yo male with stroke symptoms from Wairoa to Hawke's Bay Hospital.

2250 flew to Wairoa to pick up a 59yo male with bad burns to arm and hands, he was flown to Hawke's Bay hospital.
