Transfer from Wairoa Hospital

4 years ago - • 1220 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa Hospital, with a flight nurse, to retrieve a male patient with severe abdominal pain – he was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital.

Rugby Injury Transfer to Hawkes Bay Hospital

4 years ago - • 1500 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a rugby ground at Nuhaka, where a rugby player was suffering from a dislocated knee – he was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital for treatment.

Motor Vehicle Accident & False Activation of PLB

4 years ago - 1220 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Ashley Clinton in Central Hawkes Bay to a 41 y/o male, involved in a motor vehicle accident where he sustained multiple fractures and other injuries – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital

1500 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to a PLB (personal locator beacon activation) on the Mohaka River – it was found to be a false activation and te helicopter returned to base.

Porangahau

4 years ago - • 1400 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porongahau to a female patient with a medical condition – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up assessment and treatment.


Transfer from Wairoa

4 years ago - hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa with a ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a 60 y/o male patient with a medical condition.

Motorcycle Accident Eskdale

4 years ago - Sunday 13th September
• 1200 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Eskdale to a 16 y/o male after an accident on his motorcycle; incurring head and neck injuries. He was retrieved by paramedic and winch, then flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital.

Cardiac Patient to Wellington

4 years ago - Saturday 12th September
• 1720 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Napier airport to meet a St John road ambulance with a male patient suffering from a cardiac condition, requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital.

Maternity Patient

4 years ago - Friday 11th September
• 1700 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa with a midwife and flight nurse to retrieve a maternity patient.

Head Injury in Wairoa

4 years ago - Thursday 10th September
• 1000 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to meet a St John Road ambulance with a female patient with a head injury – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Putorino Transfer

4 years ago - Wednesday 9th September
• 1215 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Putorino to a female patient with a medical condition, she was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.
