4 years ago - • 0830 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Mangaohane (in Kaweka ranges) to a 41 y/o male patient with a dislocated hip. The patient was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital
• 2245 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Bulls to co-respond with Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter to a MVA with multiple patients. A 30 y/o male was flown to Palmerston North Hospital.
4 years ago - • 0500 hours At the request of Mid Central DHB flew to Palmerston North Hospital to transport a 57 y/o male patient with an urgent medical condition to Wellington Hospital.
• 1130 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Te Puia Medical Centre to a male patient with a cardiac complaint – the patient was flown to Gisborne Hospital.
4 years ago - • 1045 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa with a doctor and midwife to a new born baby. The baby was flown to Gisborne Hospital.
4 years ago - • 1145 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Maraetotara to rescue a female tramper who had fallen and broken a leg, she was extracted by winch and then flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
4 years ago - • 1800 hours Transported a female patient with severe burns, to Hutt Hospital. The patient was accompanied by and ICU doctor and our own Intensive Care Paramedic. Adverse weather late at night meant the crew could not return to Hastings until early next morning.
4 years ago - Sunday 11th October
• 1100 hours Tasked by Air Desk to an MVA at Porongahau, where an 18 y/o male was suffering multiple injuries from the car accident – the patient was in a satisfactory condition but was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up assessment.
4 years ago - • 1145 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to a personal locator beacon activation near the Mohaka River in the Kaweka Ranges. A hunter who was lost and disoriented was located, he had suffered a minor accident, and after assessment by our Paramedic was deemed not to require transport.
4 years ago - • 1000 hours At the request of HBDHB transported a male patient aged in his 60’s, with a cardiac condition, to Wellington Hospital. He was accompanied by an ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse.
4 years ago - • 1300 hours At the request of HBDHB transported a male patient aged in his 70’s, with a cardiac condition, to Wellington Hospital. He was accompanied by an ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse.
4 years ago - • 0300 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to investigate a personal locator beacon activation near Harkness Hut in the Kaweka Forest, where a mother with 2 teenage children were locate., The family had been hunting around dusk when they became lost and disoriented. All 3 family members were retrieved by winch, and assessed by our Intensive Care Paramedic and deemed not to require transport – other than delivery back to Harkness Hut.
• 1520 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa Hospital with an ICU doctor and flight nurse to retrieve a 54 y/o female with a medical condition
