2 years ago - Tuesday 18th October
• 0930 hours At the request of the hospital transported a 17 y/o female patient from the Psych unit at Hawke’s Bay Hospital to the special care unit at Keneperu Hospital in Wellington.
• 1500 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a 20 y/o female patient with a medical condition.
• 1930 hours At the request of Police flew to Aramoana to a report of a fisherman who had drowned, sadly the man had deceased before our arrival, and the body had been recovered by a nearby fisherman.
2 years ago - Monday 17th October
• 0655 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Eskdale to meet a St John road ambulance with a 59 y/o male patient with a cardiac condition requiring transport direct to Wellington Hospital
• 2210 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Waimarama to a report of a person having fallen from a balcony, the helicopter was stood down en route when advised that we were not required.
2 years ago - Sunday 16th October
• 0900 hours At the request of the hospital flew a 54 y/o male patient suffering from a heart attack, accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse, to Wellington Hospital.
• 1300 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa with a flight nurse and midwife, to retrieve a 35 y/o female with pregnancy complications.
• 1700 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa, with a flight nurse and our Critical Care Flight Paramedic to retrieve a 5 y/o boy with a fractured arm, as a result of a fall at home.

• 1400 hours At the request of the hospital flew a 66 y/o male patient suffering from a heart attack, accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse, to Wellington Hospital.
2 years ago - Tuesday 11th October
• 1550 hours At the request of the hospital flew a 67 y/o male patient suffering from a heart attack, accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse, to Wellington Hospital.
2 years ago - Monday 10th October
• 1952 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Waimarama to an incident where 2 males fell from a moving vehicle. One patient was deceased, the second patient a 36 y/o male suffered a serious head injury so was flown directly to Wellington Hospital.
2 years ago - Sunday 9th October
• 0520 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa Hospital with a midwife and flight nurse to a 22 y/o female with birthing complications.
• 1130 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Tukino Medical Centre at Mt Ruapehu to a 22 y/o male skier suffering facial and neck injuries from a skiing accident – the patient was flown to Waikato Hospital
• 1459 hours Whilst on the return from Waikato Hospital tasked by Air Desk to return to Tukino, where a 64 y/o female skier suffered an injury, she was accessed as having a sprained ankle not requiring transport so the helicopter and crew returned to Hastings.
• 2052 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a report of an MVA at Blackhead, the helicopter responded to the area but couldn’t locate the reported MVA so Police instructed the helicopter to stand down and return to base.

• 1720 hours Tasked by Air Desk to await a helipad handover of a male patient aged in his 60’s who initially self-presented to Hastings Health Centre where he was diagnosed to have suffered a heart attack requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital. A road ambulance transported the patient from the health centre to the helipad
2 years ago - Thursday 6th October
• 1339 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Aramoana to a 24 y/o male who fell from scaffolding at a building site – the patient’s injuries included and open fracture of his arm, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for treatment.
2 years ago - Tuesday 4th October
• 1315 hours Tasked by Air Desk as part of a 2 helicopter response to a report of an explosion and shed fire at Akitio. Upon arrival the Palmerston North helicopter was first on scene and treated and transported a 22 y/o male with extensive burns, our crew treated a 15y/o male also with severe burns – both patients were flown to the trauma unit at Wellington Hospital prior to expected onward referral to specialist burns units.
