15 months ago - Monday 18th September
• 1730 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Takapau to a male patient, aged in his 50’s, suffering from stab wounds, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
15 months ago - Saturday 16th September
• 1247 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Pourerere to a report of a male child falling from a motorbike and suffering concussion. The patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up assessment.
• 1607 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Turoa Ski field to a female snow boarder, aged in her 40’s, suffering a pelvic injury – she was flown to Waikato Hospital.
15 months ago - Friday 15th September
• 1119 hours At the request of Air Desk awaited the arrival of a St John road ambulance for a helipad handover of a patient aged in his 70’s who suffered a heart attack whilst working in his garden, the patient was flown to Wellington hospital.
16 months ago - Wednesday 13th September
• 1518 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa hospital with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, in his 70’s, with multiple injuries sustained in a fall at home.
• 1721 hours Tasked by Police to carry out a search off-shore from Ruatoria for a report of an over-turned boat – before reaching the location the helicopter was stood down and diverted to the next mission.
• 1834 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Ruatoria to a female child suffering febrile seizures – the young patient was flown to Gisborne Hospital for follow up assessment and treatment.
16 months ago - Tuesday 12th September
• 0250 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa Hospital with a flight Nurse and Midwife to a female patient, aged in her 20’s, with a pregnancy complication.
• 1524 hours Requested by hospital to transport a female patient aged in her 70’s with a cardiac condition to Wellington hospital. The patient was accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse.
• 1827 hours Requested by Police to conduct a search at Ocean Beach, nothing unusual was found so the helicopter returned to base.
16 months ago - Monday 11th September
• 1410 hours Requested by hospital to transport a male patient aged in his 60’s with a cardiac condition to Wellington hospital. The patient was accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse.
16 months ago - Saturday 9th September
• 1108 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Iwitahi (near Taupo) to an accident at a motocross event, where a male motorcyclist aged in his 20’s crashed – the patient was flown to Rotorua Hospital.
• 1644 hours Requested by hospital to transport a male patient aged in his 70’s with a cardiac condition to Wellington hospital. The patient was accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse.
• 2328 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Gisborne for a possible patient transfer to Hamilton. The decision was made to transfer the patient by fixed wing air ambulance so the helicopter was not required and returned to Hastings base.
16 months ago - Thursday 7th September
• 1538 hours Tasked by Air Desk to an MVA at Oruanui (north of Taupo) where a female patient aged in her 50’s suffered a head injury as a result of the accident. The patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
16 months ago - Tuesday 5th September
• 1317 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa hospital with a Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, in his 60’s, with a medical condition.
• 1456 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa hospital with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a female patient, in her 50’s, with gall stones.
• 2357 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Te Pohue to male patient, aged in his 40’s with a cardiac arrest. Sadly, the patient had deceased prior to our arrival.

• 1057 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa hospital with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, in his 70’s, with a head injury.
• 1217 hours Requested by hospital to fly to Wairoa hospital with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a female patient, in her 50’s, with a medical condition.
