Medical Emergency at Mangakuri Beach

8 years ago - 12:00 - The rescue helicopter was responded to Mangakuri beach for a male in his 70’s that had a medical condition. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Quad Bike Accident at Eskdale

8 years ago - 13:30 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Eskdale for a male in his 40’s who had rolled his quad bike on a steep hill among tall trees. He had sustained a lower leg injury. The rescue helicopter winched the male and the paramedic from the accident site, and he was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

8 years ago - 22:30 - Transported a female patient with head injuries following a fall from her horse from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital

Medical Emergency at Blackhead Beach

8 years ago - 14:30 - Responded to Blackhead Beach to airlift a female in her 70’s suffering from cardiac complications. St John Paramedics attended to her at the scene, before she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Truck Accident on Napier / Taihape Road

8 years ago - 11:30 - Responded to serious truck roll over on the Napier/Taihape Road, near Kuripapango. A male in his 50’s had jumped from the vehicle prior to the truck impacting a steep bank and rolling. He sustained multiple injuries, and was stabilised before being flown to but was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Medical Emergency in Tangoio

8 years ago - 11:00 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Tangoio where a male in his 70’s had suffered a stroke. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Motorcycle Accident in Waipukurau

8 years ago - 15:30 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a river bank at Waipukarau where a 10 year old boy fell from his motorbike and sustained head injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Call out to a farm in Patoka

8 years ago - 18:30 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Patoka where a 12 year old boy slipped down a hill and sustained a fractured leg. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Horse Riding Accident in Elsthorpe

8 years ago - 14:00 - Responded to Elsthorpe to airlift a teenage girl that had sustained a suspected broken femur after falling from her horse. St John Paramedics attended to her to at the scene, before she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Rescue at Waipatiki Beach

8 years ago - 15:30 - Winch recovered a male in his 50’s who had broken his ankle while walking along a narrow track just north of Waipatiki Beach. A St John Intensive Care Paramedic attended to the man at the scene, before both were extracted via the winch, for the flight back to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
