Personal Locator Beacon Activation

8 years ago - The Rescue Coordination Centre responded the helicopter to Lake Waikaremoana for a PLB beacon search. The tramping party had been separated and thought the other group were lost, but eventually found each other so the helicopter returned to base.

Horseriding Accident in Frasertown

8 years ago - Airlifted a male in his 80’s from a rural Frasertown address, who was suffering from chest and rib injuries, after falling from a horse on a steep hillside. He was flown to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer to Wellington

8 years ago - Transported a male patient with head injuries from the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Accident in Ormondville

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Ormondville for a male in his 40’s who had sustained leg and back injuries from falling out of a tree. He was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

8 years ago - Transported a male patient with a chest infection from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital.

Trail Bike Accident at Te Pohue

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Te Pohue where a female in her 40’s had fallen from her motorbike while on a trail bike ride. She sustained pelvis and abdominal injuries and was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital. for further treatment.

Call out to Omakere

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Omakere where a young child was experiencing breathing problems and was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Motorbike Accident near Lake Tutira

8 years ago - Responded to a motorbike accident on a rural road near Lake Tutira. St John Paramedics attended to a female in her 30’s, from Napier (who was the pillion passenger)at the scene, before being airlifted from the scene with multiple injuries to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital.

8 years ago - Transported a male patient with cardiac complications from Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospitalto Wellington Hospital.
