Motorcycle Accident on the Napier - Taihape Road

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to the Napier - Taihape road for a male in his 50’s who had sustained head and arm injuries following a fall from his motorbike. He was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

8 years ago - Transported a male patient with bowel complications problems from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital

Mountain Bike Accident in Eskdale

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to the mountain bike park at Eskdale for a male in his 50’s who fell from his bike while cycling. He sustained a head injury and was winched out of the forest along with a paramedic. He was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Firework Accident in Te Awanga

8 years ago - Airlifted a young male from Te Awanga who had sustained a serious burn to his foot after a firework had been ignited and fell into his gumboot. St John Advanced Paramedic attended him at the scene, before he was flown to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment

Pregnancy Complications in Wairoa

8 years ago - Transported a female patient from Wairoa Hospital, who was experiencing pregnancy complications. She was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for the delivery.

Fall in Putorino

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to Putorino for a female in her 90’s who had slipped over and had a bad laceration to her leg. She was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Medical emergency in Elsthorpe

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a house at Elsthorpe for a female in her 60’s with seizures. She was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

8 years ago - Transported a male patient with breathing problems and a female patient with chest pain from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital

8 years ago - Transported a female patient that suffered a stroke from Wairoa Hospital to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital

Call out to Marine Parade

8 years ago - The rescue helicopter was responded by ambulance for a person in the water off Marine Parade in Napier who was in trouble. On arrival the male was deceased and about 20 meters off shore. The rescue swimmer was deployed from the helicopter to recover the body and both were winched into the helicopter and transported back to Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital
