5 years ago - Monday 14th October
1630 hours Tasked by the Air Desk to Whakaki (near Nuhaka) to female patient aged in her 50’s who was involved in a motor vehicle accident, when she sustained serious head injuries. The patient was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
5 years ago - Sunday 13th October
1600 hours Flew to Wairoa to a male patient aged in his 70’s with a medical condition – he was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up treatment
5 years ago - Wednesday September 11th
0230 hours Tasked to Wairoa to a female patient with severe respiratory distress. The fog rolled in and the helicopter could not return to Hastings until daylight, so the patient was transported by a Wairoa based road ambulance, with patient care provided by our Intensive Care Paramedic
5 years ago - Saturday 5th October
1130 hours flew a male patient, aged in his 70’s, with a cardiac condition directly to Wellington Hospital.
5 years ago - Friday 4th October
1530 hours flew to Wairoa with a DHB flight team to retrieve a cardiac patient. The patient had passed away before our arrival in Wairoa. The rescue helicopter transported a teenage male patient who sustained an arm injury whilst playing rugby – he was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
5 years ago - Wednesday 2nd October
1000 hours Tasked by the Air Desk to a forestry block north of Te Haroto where a forestry worker had tripped and fallen and sustained a shoulder injury, he was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for further treatment
5 years ago - Sunday 29th September
1200 hours Transported a maternity patient, aged in her 30’s, from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.
5 years ago - Thursday 26th September
1400 hours Tasked by the Air Desk to a forestry site at Kotemaori, to a forestry worker who had a fallen down a steep bank. The male patient was assessed at the scene and found to be uninjured and not requiring helicopter transport.
1600 hours Immediately on return from Kotemaori the helicopter was tasked to Wairoa Hospital with a flight team from DHB to a 30y/o female patient with a medical condition – the patient was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for further treatment.
5 years ago - Wednesday 25th September
1400 hours Responded to a truck rollover at Kereru. The driver was trapped in his truck requiring the efforts of Fire & Emergency to free him from the truck. The driver was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital in a critical condition.
5 years ago - Tuesday 24th September
1100 hours Tasked by the Air Desk to Tangoio to a male patient, aged in his 60’s, who had a fall and injured his shoulder. He was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.
