Amber McArthur

Marketing and Fundraising Manager

Amber joined the team as Marketing and Fundraising Manager in March 2022.

Before establishing herself as a marketer and fundraiser, Amber’s experience spanned managing cruise liners, product development management, and event management. Amber has worked for local and national charities and since coming to Hawke’s Bay has brought her expansive skills together with her passion for community to support some fantastic not-for-profit organisations.

“I am extremely passionate about emergency/disaster response and animal welfare, being able to support both areas professionally and personally brings me great joy. I have friends and family members that have needed the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter and I am extremely proud to be able to support this service by not only raising funds but also telling the stories of the people our Crew have helped to save”. 

In her spare time, Amber is a team leader for the Hawke’s Bay Fire and Emergency Recovery Team and volunteers for a local Animal Rescue. She lives with her husband Brent and 4 furry friends (2 cats and 2 dogs).
