Medical Emergency in Mahia

12 months ago - Airlifted a male with cardiac complications from Mahia beach to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further investigation and treatment.

PLB Activation in Ruahine Range

12 months ago - Once again responded to a Rescue Co-ordination NZ request to investigate the same emergency locator beacon that was randomly transmitting in the Ruahine Range, near the Dead Dog Hut. The concern was that the male who had been found earlier in the day, had succumbed to further complications. He was found safe and well, and the beacon had inadvertently been reactivated in the back of the motor vehicle.

Medical Emergency in Waipukurau

12 months ago - Responded to a cardiac arrest near the main street of Waipukurau. The helicopter managed to land in adjacent school grounds so Order of St Johns Paramedics could immediately respond to a male who was receiving CPR. Unfortunately the man was declared deceased at the scene.

Bee Sting in Porangahau

12 months ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for male in his 70’s who had been stung by a bee and had breathing problems due to an allergic reaction. He was transported to Hastings Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer to Wellington

12 months ago - Transported a female in her 60’s with cardiac problems from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Call out to Farm in Putorino

12 months ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm near Putorino for a male in his 60’s with chest pain. He was transported to Hastings Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer to Wellington

12 months ago - Transported a male in his 70’s with cardiac problems from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Accident at Forestry Block Te Haroto

12 months ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a forestry block near Te Haroto for a male in his 20’s who had dislocated his shoulder. He was transported to Hastings Hospital for further treatment.

Fall from a Horse in Waiwhare

12 months ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Waiwhare for a female in her 20’s who had fallen from her horse and sustained head and arm injuries. She was transported to Hastings Hospital for further treatment.

Car Accident in Raupunga

13 months ago - The rescue helicopter was responded to a car accident at Raupunga for a young boy with a suspected fractured leg. He was transported to the Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
