Lake Tutira Rescue Mission.

7 months ago - Monday Sept 18th - 18.15 The Rescue Helicopter was responded to a farm near Lake Tutira to a 68 year old male who had fallen from a ladder, and sustained neck and spinal injuries. With the aid of night vision goggles, he has then flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Patient with Seizure Symptoms in Rural Tarawera

7 months ago - Sunday 17 September - 0730 The rescue helicopter was responded to a rural Tarawera farm station to airlift a 41-year-old man who had collapsed and was experiencing seizure type symptoms. He was stabilised at the scene by St John Intensive Care Paramedics prior to being transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Wairoa Transfer

8 months ago - Thursday 14 September - 1325 Transported a male patient with cardiac issues from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Two missions to Porongahau

8 months ago - Monday 4th September -

0100 The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for a car that collided with a bank and a 67 year old male sustained fractured ribs and head/ leg lacerations. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

1045 The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for a male patient, in his 60’s, with chest pain. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Cardiac patient taken to Wellington Hospital

0930 Transported a male patient with cardiac complications from Hawke’s Bay to Wellington Hospital.

1100 Transported a female patient from Wellington to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Accident on State Highway 5

8 months ago - Monday 28 August - 0615 - The rescue helicopter was responded to State Highway 5, at Mauganamu, 10km west of Tarawera towards Taupo for a car accident between two vehicles. A 72 year old male was trapped and was cut free from the car by the fire service and the patient serious head injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

8 months ago - Sunday 27 August - 1800 - The rescue helicopter was responded to State Highway 50, near Tikokino for a car accident between two vehicles A 54 year old male was trapped and was cut free from the car by Fire Emergency service and the patient sustained leg and head injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

12 year old female fell from motorbike

8 months ago - Wednesday 23 August - 1400 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Puketitiri where a 12 year old female fell from her motorbike and sustained shoulder injuries. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Hawke's Bay to Palmerston North Hospital

8 months ago - Sunday 20 August - 1200 Transported a male patient from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Palmerston North Hospital.

Two car collision near Te Haroto

8 months ago - Sunday 20 August - 1700 Airlifted a seriously injured female who had been involved in a two-car collision near Te Haroto on State Highway 5, to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
